Flames didn’t deserve the game in my opinion anyway. A luckluster game by most of the lines tonight. Dallas was the slightly better team and seemed to want it more. It’s a long season, team needs to take the point and be better next game.

Team looked rusty from not playing since Sunday. I didn't like the top line tonight, thought aside from Johnny's goal and the 1st PP they struggled. 4th line was probably the best line. At least they got a point on a night SJ loses.

That call/rule makes no sense. So Rittich is better off soccer flopping and not resetting himself?

Ahhhhhh! Help! I'm shot!

I was a big fan of the Neal signing, but he is the slowest player I’ve seen in the league this year. That is one badddddd contract.

Doesn’t matter if Rittich gets back into position, that has to be a goalie interference penalty. What an absolute joke.

Meh at least we got the point Benn and Seguin always seem to beat us.

On the plus side we moved one point up on San Jose for first in the Pacific and Kylington is showing signs of becoming a future star, scoring D-man.

This team can sure get your blood pressure flowing. How they can go from 0 to domination out of nowhere is so strange. When they are on they are unstoppable. But coming out flat here was the difference.

It sucks to lose but I'll take the point.

The OT call was tough. If Rittich flopped instead of battling to get back I bet he gets the penalty.

Oh well, take the point and move on. 3-way tie for 1st in the Pacific now after tonight's games. Crazy!
Nope, Calgary ahead by a point, with games in hand on both.

He had plenty of time to reset and it shows in the replay.

Yes, there was interference. No, it did not prevent him from getting a fair chance at stopping the shot.

So as the rule stands is a goalie not better off just kind of flopping and struggling to get back into position? It seems Rittich lost the call because he battled so hard to get back, even though he was still not really in position when the shot came.

Dubé needs more ice time. Peters always seems to default to benching him in a tight game, but he brings a lot to the team.

Especially with how bad the first and second lines were tonight. Dubé and Janko were probably the two best fowards.

Well Rittich was only square for a split second becuase he spent another few split seconds sliding the wrong way after the controlled himself after the nudge, as opposed to getting back to the middle of the net.

No problem with the call. Flames played somewhat sloppy, and Chuky with 3 mins in the second is noteworthy. Seguin and Benn are hard to stop once they get rolling. If Flames got possession from that in OT my guess is they out skate Benn for sure.

And Rittich firing the shaft of his stick at the refs could be trouble.

Yup, just noticed that now. I stand corrected.

Yay, we're still in 1st!

In sole possession of first place with games in hand on everybody. Also a lot of less than formidable opponents coming up. If the flames are serious with being contenders this upcoming stretch until christmas is where we separate ourselves from the playoff bubble. It's crap that we didn't win, but it sure is exciting times!

If Bennett scores that after tkachuk glides through the crease we all love it.

Well the Stars played better than they did in Edmonton (for some reason I watched part of it last night), but even there they were pretty sloppy. Flames were just sloppier. They seemed half-asleep. Lost the puck in their feet a LOT. Just not sharp at all. Take the point and go have a beer.
