He hasn't been much. Only 15 games played in the NHL in the last 3 seasons combined. Looks like your classic AHL/NHL tweener unless he's finally going to stick. 10 points in 42 NHL games at 5'6 doesn't scream NHLer to me yet but I haven't watched him much at all.

LA is so bad. It's like they are skating in cement.
Tavares has really stepped up with Matthews out. Guy is as advertised. There's an article on the athletic about him now. The little things he does like that deke move before passing to Rielly is so subtle but he does it all the time.

I can't believe there was ever a debate over who would be the better undersized American forward, him or Gaudreau. Even harder to believe is that a lot of the experts were sure it would be him.
