Sportsnet panel commiserating over the Leafs loss, started the show talking about Hymans non-goal. Pathetic.

Trade the coach, fire the players, clean house, get a new mascot, reno the building. This teams sucks. Same old for decades.

Leafs Leafs Leafs Leafs.
If that call on Gio went against Reilly to put the Leafs down 2 men, Hughson first and now the panel would be talking about a referee symposium.

Good job folks. Still good enough to make Mr. Sticky our resident GDT prophet even if no shutout was achieved (thanks zebras).
I won't be home for another two hours though and I imagine I'll have many posts to journey through. It is the center of the universe right?

Huuuge win. Damn near perfect team defense despite the zebra’s doing there best to try and give TO the win. Rasmus Andersson is a hell of a defenseman, so poised for a rookie. Props to Mike Smith, absolutely on point tonight, screwed out of a shutout. Play like that more, guys.

Nice try refs. You might have screwed Smith out of another shutout but that's all you could get.

Complete team game and win. 200 feet all night, great goaltending and team defense, along with strong special teams.

Also, fantastic game by Smith. Lots of tough saves when they came at him in the ref aided last 6 minutes.

After one strong character game that resulted in a shootout loss, nice to see the Flames come back and make another strong character statement game in this one, and be rewarded for it.
Brodie and Giordano both had very strong games.
Reffing was... lacking at the end, but who cares? Move on and focus on another strong outing against the Sabres. That's all that matters now. Hopefully that 3 game poor performance stretch is gone, and is replaced with strong outings again game in and game out.

Huge win.
A nearly perfect road game against a very good team. Anderssen kept this close for Toronto. The only reason the Leafs even had a chance is because of a gift 5 on 3 PP late in the 3rd.
Smith had a very strong game, looked much more confident in net.
When this team plays a focused game like they did tonight, they look damn near unbeatable. Good to see the turnaround after those poor 3 games. Good games against two top teams in Washington and Toronto.
I know 9-1 is a bad showing, but all teams have them. We should be confident that this team has what it takes to be a contender.
Flames Win!!!
Oh yeah and refs....

Easily the Flames best effort of the season so far. Good defensively and still created offensive chances - still need to work on finishing.
Have to say that was one of the best games I’ve seen TJ Brodie play in a long time. Using a his skating and stick to make plays, just calm, patient, and confident all over the ice.
Great effort tonight.

Chuckies bad penalty just about ruined a perfect game by the flames. Possibly their best game this year. Now why can’t they do this more often
