They might surprise a lot this year.
We could easily be 8-2 right now. I haven’t been unhappy at all with this team so far. No breaks early but have played 10 solid games

Oleksiak has turned into a very good defenseman.
Great trade by Pittsburgh....for a 4th round pick.

Went to the Canucks Penguins game tonight. Malkin was absolutely flying around the ice tonight. His line was unstoppable, the Canucks had no answers for him and Kessel. I though Petterson had a couple looks but didnt bury them. Penguins are very good, Canucks looked OK until the wheels fell off in the third.

No Matthews no Problem!

Love beating the Jets. Especially twice in a row. They are the only team that I actually hate in the West. Very dirty team. Lots of after the whistle stuff.

Kadri and Marner back together looking good.

Hopefully Matthews' injury isn't too serious.

But 3 lines split like: Matthews- Nylander

Kadri- Marner

Tavares- ?

Could be pretty sweet.

For whatever reason Tavares and Marner don't seem to have that chemistry. I say keep Kads with Marner and move people around until you find someone that is a good fit with JT.

Also gotta love Montreal so far this year.

Whenever I think they are going to suck they end up being good again.

Boston is overrated. Definition of a one line team.

I'm actually rooting for them to do well - They have no players I hate and seem to play the game the right way.

I love the sentiment but 10 solid games?

Respectfully disagree.

I think there are a few solid games and many crap games with sundry excuses.

Coyotes are good. I'd bet they finish Top 3 in the Pacific this year.

Best part of the Leafs game was when Hughson and Simpson were saying the Jets were just the more "advanced" team as Kadri scores. Legit hate these mofos.

Feelings mutual. Love being spoon fed what Austin Matthew's had for breakfast daily to lead off sportscentre.
