Not sure why but it bugs me that they use the flaming A but not the flaming C

The A pays tribute to the teams roots in Atlanta.

Don't need two flaming C's on the front.

It may have made sense on one of the past jerseys without the flaming C as the logo however..

I was on the fence on who should get the A between Backlund and Tkachuk. Backlund has been with the team so long and you can tell he cares about the team, but Tkachuk has the obvious leadership abilities. Splitting it up solves the problem very nicely.

Backlund has been a worthy candidate to wear an A for 3 years now, really glad to see him get the nod.
Chucky I am surprised and not surprised. I thought they would have waited another couple years but he is definitely letter worthy.
Tkachuk even though he is young is a born leader!

Honestly? No. I don't see him as much of a leader and I think he probably has a bad reputation with the officials as he tends to complain and embellish to some degree.

Agree. Tre has done everything he could. Extracted maximum value out of the offseason.

Having said that, our goaltending situation will be the determining factor in where this team goes this year. We need Smith to stay healthy. It is that simple.
