Taking a while to get to 5000

I liked Frolik with Bennett & Jankowski but would like to see Neal on that line in place of Frolik. Just to see it.

Let Parsons cook in the A. He'll hopefully surpass the other guys if they plateau this season and be kicking down the door in a year.

We need a legit NHL backup or we need to outscore bad goaltending. Which is not a solid strategy for the season.

If Czarnik continues to play the way he is playing, I wouldn’t be shocked if we saw a top 9 of
Gaudreau - Monahan - Lindholm
Tkachuk - Backlund - Czarnik
Bennett - Jankowski - Neal

Guy has a good game, and people must swing in with the negativity? Happy times.
Cast him out for a backup...because?
Fans are weird sometimes.

Hang on. It is preseason. 3 of the top 4 D didn’t play. And that first period was ridiculous defense, it is not reasonable to discuss goaltending without a massive grain of salt. Time and space, all alone, many times.

Kind of nice to see back to back comebacks really. Not great that they're needed but this is something the Flames haven't done much of these past 2 years.

Neal is too slow to keep up with Janko and a young LW. Frolik is a fitness freak and should be able to keep up with them. The 4th line should be all about speed and pressuring the opposition in their zone. And Frolik would be a great mentor for Dube and Janko to help them take their 200-foot game to an elite level.
Bennett and Neal on the ice at the same time would be a menace, and Neal can give that trio a bit more finish around the net.

For me it’s the holier than thou attitude from other posters when he has ONE good game.
“See, he scored a goal he’s a great player. You are all just haters.”
Just ignore the fact that he had 1 good game, like 15 average games and 4 crap games in his last 20.
