Hence Snow getting fired, and Lou being brought in.

Think the final straw was not being able to hold on to Quine.

I think de Haan will fit in really nicely into that group. If the Flames weren't so deep on defence, that is a player that I would have wished the Flames targeted. I always thought he looked so steady on the Islanders and moves the puck up so well. I bet he bounces back really well in that organization.

Yeah I was responding to the post that had Fleury and Bean already listed on the depth chart. Add in Mckeown, Carrick and now VR who has re-signed. I think Faulk is a good bet to go. I would imagine a team like Edm or Tor would be interested.

Weird that they would keep him given the players their strong defensive depth and weak forward depth. Ferland put up 20 goals playing with Monahan and Gaudreau but I'm not convinced he can put up 20 goals paired with lesser players so they are going to need more help offensively up front.

De Haan and van Riemsdyk give them even more depth and an option to move Faulk for help up front. Friedman mentioned Faulk was offered to the Hawks for Saad

Slavin - Hamilton
De Haan - Faulk
Fleury - Pesce

TVR

De Haan is the oldest at 27. Pretty damn solid D, but you have to think Faulk is still going to get dealt for a forward. TVR isn't going to make $2.3 million to eat popcorn, and I doubt Pesce is on the bottom pairing.
