Breaks in 4. It was broken in two a long time ago.

You can read his mind.

"Ugh, lucky Hallsy. What the hell was I thinking signing in Edmonton long-term?"

I'm not sure it's fully appreciated the swath of negativity and problems that Hall left in Edmonton.

It even came up at a business lunch today and the disgust by some former service industry people at Hall's antics.

He had an MVP season - deserved the award - however it doesn't change his personal off ice history in the Edmonton market.

I have to laugh at Roberto Luongo getting a 3rd place vote for the Vezina. He could still be playing for Vancouver if they didn't alienate him. Thank god he's not cuz now I get to actually enjoy him as a person.

I find the GM and coach of the year awards a little silly. Cheveldayoff would have been at the bottom of the list last year and now he's a genius, but David Poile can barely get a vote even though he's still the best GM in the game.

Gallant was nominated for the Adams 2 years ago, gets fired last year, and then wins the award this year with a new team. On second thought, that's probably just Florida doing stupid Florida things (like letting Marchessault and Smith go for a song).

Also, interesting to see Bednar 3rd in the Adams voting when he was largely considered the worst coach in the game last year, or at least had the worst results. Also, nice to see Boughner get some love for turning the Panthers around last year in the 2nd half. I think he's got a bright future as an NHL coach.

Kopitar crushed the Selke this year, but it is nice to see Barkov 4th in voting. I think that's going to be his award to lose in the future.

Best part for me is how oiler fans tried to justify the trade at the time as being Hall for Larsson and Lucic. How's that working out for you?

Mike Gillis won GM of the year. That's about all you need to say about that award.

Weren't we supposed to see who voted for who now? This person should have their voting privileges removed.

Classy move to award the Sedins the Clancy award for all their years of charitable work. A classy send off to an excellent career where they were paired at the hip on the ice, and now get the award side by side.

All the PHWA ballots are now public:

Turns out the dummy who voted for Hall as a center was David Shoalts

Is there any way of identifying who voted for who? Who from the Calgary media voted?

Hamilton got a 2nd best in the league vote for the Norris and 2 5th place votes.. Gio a 3rd place vote and a 5th.

Backlund got a 3rd 4th and 5th for the Selke.

Are all these votes by Calgary media? The same 3 guys? How are the voters selected.. If you just pick for your home team players would you eventually lose your vote?

If you thought Hamilton was the 2nd best D-man in the League how would you not have him as at least #5 in the Hart unless you go with Gaudreau?

Interesting no Calgary Homers on the Norris.

Hamilton got 2nd place vote from Adrian Dater (avs writer), 5th place vote from John Vogl (sabres writter), 5th place vote from Charlie O'Connor (Flyers writer)

Giordano 5th place vote Matt Larkin (THN), 3rd place vote from Charlie O'Connor
