"We want the Cup" chant in game 1.
Welp, tough break Boston but it's not going to happen now because of that.

I think someone will this year - one of the the Bruins or Capitals. I just don't think they have it in them this year. Can Ovie really lose another Crosby-Ovi battle?

Yes he can, and would if they weren’t going to get knocked out by Columbus.

Kadri is a gutless dirty player, I remember when the leafs fans were calling for Tkachuk’s Head after a debatable slew foot and then Tkachuk got called out by Babcock. Wonder if Babs will call out Kadri? Should be a fat suspension.

Then the game started and was a beating, if hardly a fight. The Bruins came out, as a Russian goalie once said, like gorillas out of a cage. They won every puck battle, erased every open space, tried to both start and finish checks. Brad Marchand tried to kiss Leo Komarov in there somewhere, too. The Leafs looked like accountants who had wandered into a biker bar at full brawl.

Missed third period but just saw the final highlights. Kadri is such a dirty ****- typical for him. He stuck his knee out on Nash earlier in the game too but got away without a penalty. Better get at least two games for leaving his feet to drive a vulnerable guy's head into the boards.

Ugly charge by Kadri. When he saw Marner get hit he was looking to hurt someone.
Unfortunately Wingels falls just before and Kadri is leading with his back (and wasn’t stopping anyways). He will get a game for sure, but no more.

He should at least get two, and no less. It looked liked he was trying to injure Wingels.

He was definitely trying to hurt him. But Wingels falling prior to impact made it worse. He will get a game.

Kadri knew exactly what he was doing. He saw him falling and that's why he thrust his backside out, which he knew was now head height of Wingels.
He's using the excuse that it if he was standing he'd be fine. Sure. And if he was standing Kadri would not have intentionally thrust his backside out as he did.
That was a malicious, opportunistic, intentional act to knowingly slam a players head into the boards. Not just a head shot, but a head shot knowing he is going to use the boards on a very vulnerable player in a very vulnerable position.
Repeat offender. Dirty plays, full intent on all of them, then claims innocence like a snake. Through his career, if he was not protected by the fact he plays for the Leafs, (recall no official suspension for the throat slash to Gio, but the Leafs had him sit out the next game) he'd be in line for same treatment Marchand gets,

He was making the same leaping hit regardless. You’re giving him way to much credit thinking he put all that together in 0.6 seconds.
