I certainly don't... Columbus can win so I don't have to hear any bragging.
#### Vegas and their bandwagon too

I'll happily cheer for the Jets or Leafs.
Would be cool to see if the Pens can 3-peat, as I think that gets tougher every decade.
But I also think it would be cool to see Ovi hoist the cup.
No Ducks or Bruins. That's all that matters.
Wife is from Winnipeg though and I own a couple Jets hats, so I'm jumping all over that wagon.

Capitals - Ovechkin, enough said.
Leafs - Exciting team to watch, plus, prob my fav Cdn city next to Montreal.
Vegas - The expansion underdog has been a great to follow this year.
Jets - Fun team to watch.
Those are my picks for this year to root for.

Nashville, Florida, or Jersey because of Taylor Hall.
Finally I can root for him. Big fan of him before he got drafted.

Cheering for Vegas, because that would be awesome. But realistically there's no way of it happening. Would mind seeing Nashville win though, or Ovechkin

I have a wager that Toronto won’t make it out of the first round, so f those guys.
Washington or Nashville are my teams.

Crosby has already cemented his greatness.
I want Ovechkin to win a Cup so 10 years from now people aren't arguing about his greatness because he didn't win a Cup.
Similar to when dumb dumbs argue Messi isn't great due to the lack of World Cups. I hate having that argument.

Vegas, Washington or Nashville.
I have mixed feelings on the Jets, like the players but find the fans annoying.

Who's playing Vegas? Whoever that team is in the West.
Boston in the east.

In the west I guess the jets. Bring it to Canada and I haven't developed hate for them like other stupid Canadian teams. In the east it would be pretty funny to see Hall lead the Devils to the cup. Maybe Fla if they make it.
I'm not buying the "expansion story". With those expansion rules they should be ashamed not to be near the top of the league. Also PIT has enjoyed more than enough success from sucking their way to the top, enough already. Saying that I wouldn't mind NSH, pretty legit built team.

Really? I found it was a pretty strong consensus that that roster was laughable and was going to be similar to Colorado from last year. No one actually predicted a division champion

I believe in the Jays.
|
In order...
1: Winnipeg (The people in Winnipeg suffer every day by virtue of having to live in Winnipeg... they should get something nice).
2: New Jersey (With Hall winning the Conn Smythe)... because it'll drive Edmonton media batty and fuel a decade of "1 for 1" jokes.
3: Anyone but Nashville (I don't want Brett Wilson's name on Lord Stanley's mug).
4: Anyone but Toronto (because good god TO media would drive us all insane and I'd rather the Jays and Raptors get the attention).

Then they turn into the best team in the league and basically cannot lose anymore. It's like a Disney movie. Plus, Luongo is awesome and it would be nice to see him win one.
If they miss, though, then yeah I'll have to agree with the Devils pick. From the Atlantic, anyone but the Leafs, because... obviously. From the Pacific, I'd be cool with Thornton getting one and the Sharks are playing incredibly well since the deadline. From the central, Ehlers is maybe my favourite player in the league right now so I wouldn't mind a Jets run, but Nashville's whole playoff vibe is fun too.
But yeah, mostly the Panthers.

All of their 10 fans would be thrilled.

Nashville or Winnipeg.
Winnipeg’s drafting is something I hope we mimic. So much skill that’s mixed with effective size.
