Kylington - Why not

I think the problem now is Stockton is also in a playoff battle.
So the trade off probably is do you want them up here for what look to be meaningless NHL games or do you want them to keep battling in the AHL with the chance to get some AHL playoff games.

Andersson will sit for sure. How else will you achieve the dream scenario of Left-Right shooting dmen? Skill won't make up for it.

Mentioned this in the OOT last night.
Calgary could wake up Wednesday morning only 2 points back of LA and the playoff bar, which given what has happened since Friday is amazing to me.
The Scenario:
Flames win tonight.
LA loses in Winnipeg/Minnesota tonight and tomorrow.
Dallas loses in Washington tomorrow.
4 results where we need the favorites to win, so it's not out of this world.
Yes, the Blues are right in the mix, but they don't play until Wednesday(tough one vs Boston as well) and I'm just pointing out a scenario that doesn't have the Flames dead and buried before the Anaheim game.
Screw it......I STILL BELIEVE

If Smith is playing you might get one of those great games out of him. So there's that.
If they recalled Shillington and Anderson I might be inclined to watch.

I have liked Hamonic a lot lately, I think he will look pretty good with a new partner.
I'm not sure there's anything that locks him into the right side of a d pairing though. I know Glen is absolutely mental about the LD-RD thing, but simply switching brodie and him sides of the ice at least for 3-4 games this season (Just to see!) might have changed a lot of things. As of right now i am personally hoping we have seen the last of TJ.

Happy or Mad .... Brodie plays on his strong side with a new partner and has the best game of the year.

I'm out..unless they play some kids. I'd be interested in seeing how they've developed over the season.
Between the playoff odds and the calibre of play, it's just not interesting to me at this point.

I truly admire your optimism. I wish I could share in it. I dont know why, but I just cant.
It might have something to do with the fact that its based on hoping that another team fails hard and that we need help from elsewhere and I'm tired of seeing the Flames have control over their destiny and yet regularly give it up and then resort to hoping for help from On High.
Thats all I'm going to say about it.
I was optimistic yesterday and look what that got me.
