Flames have no choice but to string some wins together if they want a decent chance at getting in, and they especially need to win their head to head match-ups against the Sharks, Kings, and Ducks.

100%, just think of all the games where if the Flames just had an average NHL powerplay they probably would’ve won. Tons of missed oppurunities throughout the season and now we see how those 5-6 games they easily could’ve won are coming back to haunt them.

Still lots of points up for grabs but the teams they are chasing aren’t gonna go away. Gonna go down to the wire and the Flames need to channel one of their epic streaks to get in.

LA just getting absurdly lucky. They have looked awful. It’s really ridiculous the flames aren’t ahead of them in the standings, the Kings aren’t that good in my opinion. Outside of Kopitar, doughty, Quick there’s a lot of below average players on that roster
