I know Smith is the #1 and neither goal so far has really been his fault but if I was coaching I would be pretty tempted to put him back on the bench if NYI gets another one soon. He is coming back from an injury and may not be ready to go yet.

The only Flame able to complete a hard pass has been Smith. They are jumpy to start and not executing.
Let's see what they're made of and if there is any pushback

Like it or not, they have to have Smith for the final stretch. If it takes a rust shaking game against the Isles to get him up to speed, then so be it. But Smith HAS to be in net for the rest of the season. No more back to backs as far as I can tell.
