Is it time for the NHL to make neckguards mandatory?

Your vision on the ice is much better without a visor but most players long term insurance coverage premiums make it almost impossible not to wet one, and now that it’s mandatory for all but a few still grandfathered in its really a non issue.

Full cage is dangerous as guys take more liberties with you and sticks get up way more. Out in beer league guys are way less concerned with getting a stick up or elbows up in front of the net if the damn has a full cage

Neck guards are mostly pointless as they ride so low that they don’t protect very much and are uncomfortable as hell.

Yeah these one's are better ridiculous and don't do anything. The neck guards with the bibs are way more protective, granted also more restrictive.
