Only tangible reason to play Bartkowski is to get him some games in to be able to better move him in a trade. But messing up the defence which has been the least of the problems these last 2 months, when you’re trying to get over two terrible defeats isn’t the time for that.

There are gulutzan "fanboys"?

I have found two types of people on this board when it comes to GG.

1. The group that despises the man and everything he represents. These people will make things up to fit a narrative or look for any reason to take a crap on the guy. Beer not strong enough? Gully's fault. Game time at 8pm? Gully's fault. NHL not sending guys to Olympics? Gully's fault.

2. Then there are the guys who realize that Gully probably isn't the best coach for this team but are willing to see this season thru or at the very least don't feel the need to take a dump on him for things that aren't his fault. And when he does make mistakes(like every coach in the NHL), there's a proper way of critiquing him that doesn't include "fire this idiot".

I don't know of anyone who could be considered a actual "fanboy" of Gulutzan. Disagreeing with a gulutzan hater does not make someone a fanboy.

What a terrible attitude about the game and towards the board

Scratching Jankowski makes a bit more sense, as he's a rookie and is struggling - but even then, Eatbread - Bennett - Brouwer is a crap line, and again - anytime Bennett plays centre, he plays with bad (or non-nhl in Eatbread's case) wingers.

Struggling or not, I'd much rather have Janko in than Mangiapane

Also doesn’t look like they’ll be a surprise with retro jerseys. No surprise though, as no team in the league other then those in the outdoor games, have alternate jerseys this year after the changeover to Adidas.

Well then based on the info in this thread it'll be another big bet against the Flames tonight.

At least Garbage Gulutzan is good for my wallet.

This coaching staff his completely fallen off the deep end now.

Why practice a logical PP unit during practice to go back with the Brouwerplay?

And take out Jankowski?

This is going to be a blowout tonight.

That new power play unit was the one little glimmer of hope for tonight. In my mind it as a “maybe Gulutzan is getting it” moment. Apparently not. Back to the Brouwer Play it is eh?

It’s like they’re trying to make the fan base hate them. It feels like a damn conspiracy at this point. Why!!!?!?!?

Joel Mann @joelsmann
Janko and Kulak scratched but Stajan/Brouwer/Bart are in. Our coaches have superior tanking skills. Too bad we dont have a first, or second, OR THIRD. I'm mad sorry people.

This lineup better be the one to stop the rot. Not holding my breath though.

If the Flames do finish out of the playoffs I have no doubt they will recoup some picks but yeah. Its a bad look.

Sharks won last night so Flames better win unless they want to fall further back from the 8-ball.

Hopefully the random scratches end up taking out Brouwer someday

I still feel like he's the root of all of the team's problems. Guy's the third highest paid forward on the team and he doesn't care and doesn't try and still has an A and PP time

Who wants to give their all when you have a guy like that around
