If this season is going to amount to anything, it's going to have to start real soon.
I have a good feeling about this one.

I fully expect a big let down game. We’ll see if they respond to GG.

Me too. Oilers are completely irrelevant, as are the Canucks right now.

When GG rips the team a new one and then plays Curtis Lazar over Hrivik
Why does he do this to me?

To date the flames have not inspired much confidence in winning a game like this but it would be very nice to be surprised.

I didn't think they'd beat the Kings either, and then they ended up playing one of their best games of the season (at least for 40 minutes anyway). When the Flames are on their game, they can be a very dangerous team. Whatever supernatural mojo they had against the Kings, they need to carry that over to tonight.

Winning this game makes for a very successful week. Almost a must-win if there's such a thing this time of year as they need to go on a prolonged streak of winning hockey.

It's to my understanding GG chooses the line up, can't help but think BT is in a similar boat to us.. "I called him up for a reason"

Agreed and thats exactly it. They show signs of being a legit good team but then lay an egg when theres an opportunity to make up some good ground.
If they come out hungry tonight they should beat the ducks and hopefully gather some momentum.

I want to believe this is the game that launches them on a big run and saves the season.
But every time I get my hopes up, and the Flames have a big game on national TV, they invariably #### the bed.
Come on boys, prove the doubters wrong!

Does Gulutzan get fired tomorrow if the team lays an egg tonight after he had lost his marbles yesterday?

They can lay an egg for the next week and he is not getting fired. He will get the season at least to work it out.
