Team has won last two games against good opponents -- why are we so mad?

More grist for the mill that the problem with this team is less coaching and more team culture. The coach can only do so much. The players have to hold themselves accountable too. They have one win where they play well and decide to coast around at practice the next day? Concerning.

I meant this kind of thing happening behind closed doors. Not in the middle of practice. I agree this is rare

Good on GG. He's not a yeller and screamer on the bench and I'm fine with that, that way when he does lose it, it has meaning, its not temper tantrum 500 of 600 and the players tune it out.
A fan actually got smoked in the head with a stick at the 2015 WJHC. After Russia lost the gold medal game, one of their players threw a stick into the crowd just like in this clip, and it hit some poor women.

I mean let's still not put Stajan and Brouwer on the ice when we're trying to hold onto a lead with 2 minutes remaining in the 3rd.

Unless that's culture.

Prelude to a firing. Just like Mike Yeo.

You're missing "gluegun" in your post.

It did seem similar didn't it! Though Gulutzan topped it with the stick throw but yeah. I forgot about Yeo's rant on the ice.

Seemed like a dig at Brouwer (possibly among others) with the one good game from veteran guys comment.

For real? I've never worked anywhere where this type of thing would be tolerated. A had a boss lose it and yell and curse at me and, but later apologized.

I don't see how it solves anything. I certainly don't look at it and say, yep that's leadership.

We? Or Him?

Hes probably mad because they were likely not taking practice seriously. Its the number one way to upset coaches.

Considering he referenced "some of you veteran guys" I'm assuming a few of them were loafing a drill, not executing....more or less what we see from this team every 2 out of 4 games.

Not the first time this group of millionaires has been yelled at. They'll just shrug it off and drop the next two games like they usually do.

Gulutzan is very clearly on the chopping block now. If the team doesn't perform well over the next 5 games, he is gone.

And if it isn't Gulutzan, then it has to be on Treliving for not remedying a team discipline or team partying problem.
