Pretty fun period to watch. Glad it's a close game........blowouts for Canada are nice and all, but they make the games pretty boring. Sweden is a solid team.

What game are you watching? Game is quite even but I'd give a slight advantage to Sweden so far.

Sweden slightly better in the first. 15-8 in shots. Both goalies look solid.

Dube scores a goal that should have counted in the first period of a gold medal game that he captained his team to. Sounds like a disappointment to me

More than slight. They've clearly had the best of the play. Need to stay out of the box.

I realized after I posted that that I am a few minutes behind on PVR. And the Swedes had a couple more good shifts after I posted it.
Nonetheless, pretty even period, and I thought the Canadians had more dangerous chances.
But whatever. Good game so far.

Sweden has had more possession but I feel Canada is lethal once they get just a single good shift and establish some pressure. Quite nervous even though Sweden looks really good with the puck.

Alright, I apologize for my snarky tone. Your post sounded a lot worse when I assumed you had watched the whole period

I've probably been most impressed by #7 Tim Liljegren in this tournament based on my expectations, not having watched him much in Sweden or the AHL. Toronto might have a steal there at 17th OA. Obviously hoping Välimäki will turn out to be the better player but Liljegren looks sharp. Skating, awareness, creativity. He looks like what I hope Kylington will turn into.
edit: Why did I just post this?
