No big deal IMO. Muslims slaughter sheep regularly on religious holidays. They didn't slice and dice it and it doesn't seem like they did it in front of the home crowd. I'm sure they slit its throat and let it bleed out. I'm also sure that the meat was not wasted. Most likely it was donated to a family or an organization in need.
