There was a jersey toss in Ottawa last night, might we see a jersey toss in Edmonton tonight?

Haha. Jets didn't give up with 10 seconds to go. 4-0.

Jets are fast, skilled, tenacious. Impressive team. Oilers broadcast is so desperate to show McLotto in a good light they have to use highlights from a different game.

I guess the oilers must be beating the jets right? No, not a mention of the jets. All greasers, all the time.
Its actually funny when you see Principe doing between period interviews and he's asking opponents these Oiler centric questions like

"How does it feel to share the ice with Connor McDavid in this beautiful new building"

or

"How do you contend with the speed and skills of the Oilers team that you're leading 5-0"

Or

"Leon Draisaitl recently invented the ability to pass the puck though space time by folding the universe in his awesome awesome, soft girl like lover hands. Do you ever feel the need to just drop to your knees and worship this Edmonton Juggernaut that you're leading 2-0 at the end of the first period".

If you watch closely you can actually see the opposing players rolling their eyes and then muttering to their team PR guy on the way back to their dressing room.

The bottom line is that Principe is an unprofessional joke and the worst between period host in all of sports. He's more suited to be a moderator on HF then actually working an Oilers broadcast.

McDavid has been dog #### tonight. Haven't really noticed him. Along with the rest of the team.

Watching the Oilers give up a goal with 2.5 seconds left in the period, to trail 4-0 is awesome. Pour it on Jets.

I hope the Jets win 8-0 tonight. Just completely run them out of the building so we can watch the entire Sportsnet team cry.

McDavid is McDavid. He picks up the puck and does 20 crossovers by the boards and try to go down the fence and then use his speed to cut in front of the next or pass. The Jets and most teams just play him positionally and McDavid goes behind the net with a pouty look on his face and then gives the puck away.

For a so called generational player, he's a pretty predicatable player and does the same thing over and over again.

He's going to need to drastically improve other aspects of his game. He won't have the foot speed his entire career.

Opening principe question for ehlers “uhhh...your team seems...umm... kind of motivated to keep scoring” and as CC says there was eye rolling and a reply of “yes we are in a hockey game”.

Man, the Jets just don't take a shift off. Their puck pursuit is relentless. I'm super jealous.
