Nice stat...

In 2015, Flames traded their first and two second round picks to Boston for Dougie Hamilton. Tonight, Andrew Mangiapane — a sixth round pick that year — will match the combined number of NHL games played so far by the three players taken by the Bruins.

I predict we'll likely lose 2-1 or 3-2 with the PP going 0 for 4 and the Flames showing up for about 30 minutes. It's also a home game, so that's not a good sign either.

Happy New Year, everybody!
I may skip this one as well. I never miss a game but it hasn't been good for me lately. Makes me miserable for a couple hours afterwards. The holidays are nearly over, may as well enjoy the last night.

Happy New Year!

Kampf has played the prior 2 games, and seems typical for the 'Hawks lower 6 forward prospects, ok size, defensively responsible, just not very exciting. He has been ok on faceoffs, which is big, as, for most of the year, only Toews has been able to win draws. As an aside, the feeling among many 'Hawk fans, is that Sharp has not much left, and, based on some careless tweets (by Hartman), Panik isn't as well liked as some of the Rockford call ups. For most of the year, the 3rd line has been useless.

I almost forgot Vinny! If Sharp or Panik get scratched, stick in Hinistroza. A little more speed at a sacrifice of size. Also a bit of pest, but, not much of a threat.

To the guys who plan to skip this one, I recommend against this. Win or lose, the 'Hawks play a very entertaining style, and even when they aren't scoring, like recently, they still can look like the Harlem Globetrotters on skates with amazing passing (unfortunately, for 'Hawk fans, to no reward,)

I'm not sure we are fans of your globetrotters dancing around our listless corpses and beating us 6-0.

He has no clue how to game plan, opposition can figure it out 2 minutes into the game. Then he is clueless how to adjust after that.

It's frustrating and has killed the year for me I can't watch or enjoy hockey this year because it is the same thing every game

10-0 Hawks. Gulutzan is shown the door right after the game.

Everyone cheers. Red Mile is filled with people celebrating. We win the cup.

Go Flames
Is that Scorch a photoshopped thing, or did you custom design it from a different action figure?

Either way it's awesome, but if it's an actual action figure modification, I'll take ten.

Feel free to do away with "Tommy Hawk" He gets a lot of ridicule from many older Blackhawk fans, who have no use for a mascot!

Holy Chicago's power play is somehow worse than the Dave Cameron special? That's shocking.

Quite the coincidence that two of our former Blackhawks are on the shelf for tonight's contest.

I mentioned "Globetrotter" passing, with no finish...the 'Hawk PP is a prime example. And with Anisimov to the IR, there will be nobody's butt in the goaltender's face.

Going to fire up the blender...Banana Daquiris will be the New Year's Eve drink of choice for the Foss tonight! Happy New Year! Win or Lose!

I won't be watching again tonight. I'm not going to hope they lose but I won't be sad either if it means a new coach on Thursday.

Sick in bed with the flu so had to give up my tickets for the game tonight and abandon my New Years plan of excessive dome beer consumption. Hope Mangiapane plays well. Go Flames!
