Another 1 goal game for the Flames. This team is totally incapable of bearing down on their chances(f'n bennett doing a deke and not shooting into the wide open net is going to give me nightmares). This 50/50 hockey or whatever the heck is really stupid. This team is constantly beating themselves(Missing glorious chances like Bennett's, taking incredibly unncessecary penalties like Smith's tonight. turnovers galore etc etc). It's hard to watch now. I'd make the call at this point, Treliving. Time to get someone else. and for the goodness sake, do not promote Cameron if you do. He needs to be canned as well.

I thought the systems were good. Lots of time to recoup draft picks if this does not work out. What we need is some patience. I thought they were visually better. Just need to continue chopping wood and carrying water.

I frickin really hate Kesler. More shots should've hit him from the point. Flames need some changes to be able to compete for 60 minutes. Too many points given up on almost every game played.

You could tell Bennett thought Gibson was up and challenging, so he cut back into what he assumed was the empty net.

Except he had SO much net to put the puck into without moving. Sums up the last 15 games for me.

Top line isn't saving us anymore. Smith is still standing on his head but we aren't going to win many games if we can't score 3+ goals.

I enjoyed Kesler getting punched in the head by Matthew multiple times. I enjoyed Kesler taking a couple of Stone slappers in the arms. I enjoyed Kesler being highsticked in the face by Monahan.

Completely agree. I’m not blaming that entirely on the officiating but the lopsided PP chances had a huge factor in how bad the ice was tilted for a large portion of that game. Anaheim gets away with absolute murder. Baffling.

I've actually changed my mind. GG is exactly the coach CSEC and the Flames deserve. I hope they keep him and the entire coaching staff for many years to come.

I'm hoping so much for a coaching change. I honestly believe this team has what it takes to take off if they are granted a different look. The pens need a shakeup too, so maybe Treliving can trade GG and his staff straight up for Sullivan and his? After all, Mike Sullivan is a former Flame. It could happen, right? Right?
