Been very impressed by Dube and Fox so far this tournament. Ruzicka is a slow and will need development time.

Valimaki also seems a bit stiff but I think after a year in the AHL with faster players he'll be fine.

Haven't seen anything of Lindstrom to have an opinion.

Pretty fun game with all the snow. The camera angles are super annoying though.

Great to see Dube rewarded with a goal. He looks great on the PK as well. I am extremely excited for this kid. He already plays a pro game with his excellent back checking, so I can see his transition to the NHL being fast tracked. Could we see a Dube - Jankowski - Bennett line in the not to distant future?

I like the American jerseys, but the white socks look like the equipment guy brought the wrong set

Just waiting for an American player to be frantically looking for his helmet that he forget on the bench/sidelines.

Nevermind Canada is wearing mostly white socks, which is optically a bit deceiving when you're on the ice, glancing, at that speed, figuring out who is who around you.

Toss in that the colors are both white color, which is same as the boards and the ice, and, in this case, the falling snow, and it's really a bad choice from the Yanks.

I didn't even know that. What caught my eye with him, especially during training camp, is how high a motor he's got. And he's got the skill set to make plays with the puck to boot.

Really excited about him too.

I think the outdoor thing is awesome.

Who cares if its been done before? Apparently 40,000 people (plus about 10K more stuck on the Canadian side of the border) think its worthy of their time, travel and money.

The snow may bring this thing to a halt for a while, but otherwise its pretty cool watching a bunch of kids playing the game in the setting so many learned it in.

I was really impressed with Dube in a limited role in last year's tournament, but he seems to be "Mr Everything" this year. He has Bennett's motor, Tkachuk's Hockey IQ, and Monny's shot. There is a lot to like.

a big football stadium with it's own ice making plant, warm locker rooms and state of the art training facilities?

This camera angle is too low. Like I'm watching a Stars game.
