Love the play of the Bennett line. Janko and Hathaway seem to know where each other is on the ice and play well together. And Bennett is oozing with confidence and it shows in the way he plays.
Now if we could only get the 4th line going. We can always dream I guess.

PP looks better. Everybody's gotta admit that. Zone entry still sucks but moving the puck faster. A little grit and luck, I'll take it! We've lost too many of these games lately.

With tonight's win, Calgary is in sole possession of 3rd place in the division (and a playoff spot). It's not a solid grasp, as there are 5 teams bunched up with 38/39 points: CGY, SJ, CHI, MIN, DAL.

I liked the game a lot. Sure the power play didn't score, but it looked better IMO. And if that one thing gets fixed, this team looks great.
Crossing fingers for a Hamonic return. If not, Rasmus comes up and plays.

Very solid win by the Flames. I thought they controlled most of the play all game. The 3M line was dominant. Seemed after every defensive faceoff, the play just tilted to the other end like water on a hill. Very satisfying to watch. First line had a ton of chances of the rush, but it seemed like they barely got the puck on net.
Really liked Edmunson's game on St. Louis. He made a couple key blocks on some grade A chances.

Wow. Only caught the third period but the Flames looked impressive. Got some chances, got a kill, got a garbagey goal, got some more chances, got some more chances... game over.
Didn't give the Blues much room, and generated more offence in the last 5+ minutes than St. Louis even though they were leading, not behind. Haven't seen that from the Flames in awhile...

I know the Sharks have games in hand but I still think 3rd is theirs for the taking...then you don't have to worry about those wildcard spots.
And honestly a playoff match up with Vegas or LA, not the worst thing in the world IMO

In this case, since we're in 3rd, it's only SJ that matters. They've got 3 games in hand, though.
