Kelly Chase @Chasenpucks39
Just watched Mike Smith jump out of his truck in the snow and help a man in a wheel chair cross the street @NHLFlames . Cause that’s what hockey players do.

Probably just looked at the Flames home record.

Would be nice to make them pay for it but you know how it is on home ice against opposing backups..

At least the coil then get Allen.

More likely going with Hutton because we lit up Allen last time.

Hutton's numbers have been unreal.

https://www.nhl.com/player/carter-hutton-8475622

It'll be tough for the Flames tonight if he's on his game.

GAA - 1.63
SV% - .949

Hutton shutout the Jets in his last game with a 48 save performance. He's their better goalie right now. All good though, we got this!

Flames have only played Hutton once in the past 2 seasons (Oct.25/16). Beat the Blues 4-1 in St. Louis last year.

No team has the advantage in this department. Flames haven't seen much of him and he hasn't seen much of the Flames.

That's nice, but "that's what hockey players do"? Okay then.

Go Carter! Go Flames! Feeling torn.

Carter had two games against Calgary 2 seasons ago. Won one, lost the other in OT.

A buddy of mine is friends with Carter and I know Robert Burtuzzo's family...his sister is my sons teacher. I like to pull for Thunder Bay guys but not against the Flames.

4-1 Flames.

He's like an older carbon-clone of Allen with the warts more pronounced.

Both of them are excellent at swallowing shots up when they have time to square themselves to the puck. Not so much when it comes to one-timers and rapid lateral puck movement, as neither of them have the vision for tracking fast-paced offensive plays, nor the explosive side-to-side movement necessary to take away angles. Hutton also also tends to let big fat rebounds out for low shots from the circles.

We might be yelling "No, shoot! Shoooooooooot!" a lot at our TVs tonight.

Huge test tonight against one of the best teams in the league. If the Flames' offence continues to click like they did against Vancouver, we just might be able to earn 2 points tonight. Special teams will be huge in this game.

"big fat rebounds" - So you're saying our PP has a chance?

I think his point is that hockey players are, generally speaking, nice guys who do nice things.

Dare I say this is a must win game to avoid falling back in the pack

I wouldn’t say it’s a must-win this early in the season, but at some point the Flames will need to go on a run like they did last year, if they want to make the playoffs.
