I'm sorry, but that's ridiculous. The effort was fine, in fact the Flames outplayed the Preds for the majority of the game. Their god-awful PP is the reason they lost. End of story.

Nothing wrong with the coaching tonight. Shuffled the lines to generate some scoring.

Then again you wouldn't know that as you didn't watch the game

Ho hum, another game lost with the PP sputtering. Color me shocked.
You missed a great game with the Flames going toe to toe with the best team in the West.

Gio, Johnny, Jagr had great chances in prime spots early. No dice. This was one of the better performances.

The PP ....

They had plenty of great scoring chances today

If I do the same thing over and over but fail again in my workplace I will see a pink slip within a week. If the Flames ownership is that generous can you please donate the money to Mustard Seed.

Cenovus has a new CEO to right the ship. Does the Flames need a change to keep the lifeboat afloat ?

On the 5-3 there was no movement, the box was too large, and the passing was too tentative and slow. Gaudreau only had the real chance in that entire 2 minutes and that was off a broken play.

Failed PP probably cost us the game.

I don't think Flames outplayed the Preds. They just played a good road game and kept the flames outside most of the time. If they were 2 goals down they will play a different game.

Gaudreau seems to stay on the perimeter even more than usual. Very noticeable.

How can you discuss the game you didn't watch?

Yeah I guess I meant 5 on 5 I dont think coaching is the issue. Obviously something needs to happen on the PP

I'm actually watching the replay now, so I'll see for myself how it went. From what I've read the team kept up with them, but they are snake bitten as hell and the PP once again failed.
