I think we see some goals from some less obvious people, Frolik, Brouwer, Johnny, Backlund, and Hamonic. Frolik's is a little dirty, Hamonic's is a lucky bounce. Flames take it 5-3.

Oh yeah? Over the last 4 previous seasons .910 was the average SV%. Hoping for a .915 in those years was hoping for an average starting goaltender. This year the average save percentages is .921 to date. 13 teams have a save percentage over .925 so far this season and 7 have one over .930.
Finding a relatively average save percentage of .920-.925 acceptable doesn't seem that unreasonable to me.

I'd like to see Johnny have a good game. I have heard him say before that the Blues are a team he doesn't like to play against. Build some confidence.

Gaudreau has eight points in his last seven games v. St Louis since 2015. He struggled in games against the Blues his first year (along with all Flames players that year), but has been much more productive since then.

But could you be a little more specific...

I think it was from the Flames subreddit, at least that's where I remember it from.

I thought flams was an accidental typo by HD or something a bunch of years ago which then spurred us on to a long winning streak?

Yup. I remember it as HD starting it by accident, then the Flames went on a massive streak looking like untouchables the whole time. Every time since, if FLAMS is in the GDT then the Flames have won. It's beyond superstition and well into Jobu territory now.

That makes sense. It was well over a year ago when I heard Gaudreau say this at a fan event.

Johnny and Tkachuk had a cool little drill a moment ago where Johnny is behind the net flipping pucks over the bar (like Lemieux) to Matthew in front who baseball bats it in, making sure to keep contact under the bar.

What's our record with st. Laurent reffing the game? I have a bad feeling.

The Oilers made the playoffs after a decade... Safe to say all streaks come to an end eventually.
