Ottawa isn't really a tough team, so Lazar probably gets a shot over Glass.

What was the rule change for what counts as a shot?

For Jagr and Smith, will be interesting couple games, simply because the Flames don't play for 5 days after tomorrow.
So while it makes sense for Lack one of these games, you can ride the hot goalie knowing he will have 5 days off after tomorrow, and you may not want him sitting for almost a week if he plays tonight and not tomorrow.

Same with Jagr, him still getting his legs, playing him two nights in a row may be a tough ask, but it's made easier knowing he has 5 recovery days. I do think Jagr may only play one of these two games this weekend so as not to push it. Playing a game at sea level is better then in Calgary for that cardio, but we will see.

If Jagr only plays one game, i would like to think it's the home game.

If you find out she's a Canucks fan, dump her immediately. If she asks what hockey is, you're golden and stick to the plan.

Yes. But it's also not ideal to see your backup going in the season 3 weeks without seeing any game action. Not going to happen, Lack will draw in one of the games.

I've mentioned this previously but fits in this thread - I would play Lack tonight and let Smith start against the division rival tomorrow.

Lazar should be in the lineup instead of Glass for this game.

Naw. Ride the momentum and try to extend the streak with Smith. Don't need to take a chance on Lack having a rusty performance with the shots against yet to come down and have that hurt their confidence going into tomorrow. Sens I think will be a tougher opponent than the Canucks anyway.

My Jagr jersey is making its Saddledome debut tonight. Didn't want to wear a it to the home opener if he wasn't playing. Excited to wear this bad boy!

I predict that 4th line scores. Jagr's first point tonight too.

Glass has done his job pretty well so far, but he's also replaceable for a game like this. Glad to see Lazar back in, I like those lines. Hope this wakes Ferland up a bit too, he seems to be 'off' now for a while.

I wonder who plays goal for the Sens tonight. No Hammond, so Lazar is out of luck for a snack (I don't want to think about what gets thrown if Condon plays).
