I am curious what their target audience is for this. I don't think this speaks to millennials so much(if at all), but I could see it working for 35+ crowd. It is odd the band gets so much face time.
Oh God, have to agree with most here.. That came off like an excited teenager putting together a video of the country singer she has a crush on, so she can see his mouth move around a lot... Mixed with some flames stuff.
gag.
some of the highlights were cool but just stick with that, I don't need to see that guy.
I can confirm 100% that this is not the opening video that will be shown on the 7th.
Thank Jesus for that...kind of a waste of $$ no?
Coincidentally, I just watched this the other day because the song came on one of my playlists in Spotify...yeah video game, but great mix of excitement and emotion:

I'd choose this 10/10 times, definite "video game" trailer music vibe (rightfully so, it was for one) but mixed with real broadcasting announcers it makes for a good feel.
Plus 1 for being Porter Robinson
Slightly off topic, but does anyone remember the opening video they played on the broadcast before the Flames playoff game against the Nucks in 14/15??
I believe it was before game 6 when the Flames put them away.
It was "Rusty Cage" by Johnny Cash and it showed awesome highlights from the series and a seemingly endless amount of Ferland hits and I specifically remember getting chills watching it.
If any one has a link I'd love to see that again
Not a country music fan at all but that wasn't a bad song. Like everyone else, I thought it presented more like a music video than something to get me pumped up about being at a Flames game.
Why on earth are there so many shots of the band playing, was this in their agreement of the song usage license for the Flames? Video is OK except for that, just seemed so out of place for a hockey pump up video.
You're there to watch a hockey game, not enjoy a band.
