Oilers for me, by far. I agree that the fawning over McDavid will be annoying, but frankly they are finding ways to do it during Flames games that he isn't even participating in so it's less of a concern for me.

I hate how refs let the Ducks get away with garbage just because they keep doing it. It's a massive advantage for them and it gets infuriating. It just seems to be a terrible match up for the Flames and I think the games against the Oilers will be a better style to watch and the rivalry will be absolutely insane.

Not so worried about the Flames getting swept by the Oilers. The only game of the four that bother me at this point is the last one where they lost at home. I think the playoffs will look a lot more like the overtime game.

I think we match up a little better against the Ducks but I'll take Battle of Alberta. Need to see this.

Bring on Edmonton. There is never anything better than a real rivalry in the playoffs. It will make for the San Jose - Anaheim games more interesting as well.

Plus, I really want Calgary to shut those smug Edmonton fans up.

Edmonton's 11-2 late season surge is all smoke & mirrors. Or more precisely, a pillowy soft schedule...

1 game vs. Dallas
2 games vs. Colorado
3 games vs. Vancouver (1 to go)
3 games vs. a limping LA team
2 games vs. a free-falling Sharks team

So really, 3 games of consequence: A nice win vs. Boston, a loss vs. Anaheim, and a come from behind OT win vs. Anaheim.

Edmonton. The Oilers are nothing without McDavid... and McDavid ought to look a whole lot less formidable when getting in his way carries less of a penalty risk.

Wouldn't shock me for 8pm Local time starts in Calgary/Edmonton. With three eastern Canadian teams in the mix, Rogers might want the traditional 5pm/8pm MTN time double header.

The way this team is playing since the streak? Niether. It'll be quick and painful.

If they play like they can? Oilers.

Have a bad feeling about both as well. Don't see us getting past a game six with either team. With that said, I'll take the Ducks as I wouldn't be able to handle a loss against the Oilers.

Not meaning to sound like a prick, but, if you draw the Oil, you will get the worst starting times, as US TV will want ANY games, but the two Alberta squads to get the spotlight starts. It's just fact, that the US network wonks would see practically no US audience to market this great rivalry to...after all, exactly HOW MANY "Rivalry Night" games have you guys been a part of since NBC sports started doing them for the last 3 years? If ESPN still had the US TV rights, you guys vs. Edmonton would probably get stuck on ESPN Deportes with SPANISH announcers!

I agree no US network market will be concerned or intersest in the games, but exactly how will that get us bad start times? How the US networks feel about our games will be irrelevant to our start times, we will get consistent prime time starts in our time zone tevery night we play.

Back in the day, Oilers/Flames was the marquee match-up on ESPN. I kid you not.

It was "Must Watch" television. That's how insane the rivalry was.

Edmonton would go in beating their chests, but come out with their tails between their legs.

Flames would surely find their feet and shut down those overrated punk ass kids.

####ing cocky fairweather fans. Where were you before? Back into your caves you go. Would be happy to see the Flames do the deed.
