After the Hockey News a few years ago that predicted that the Jets were the next leagues powerhouse and the incessant humblebrag by their fans about their awesome talent and prospects its kind of refreshing to see that organization continuing to stub their d$$$$ on every obstacle.

That was a wild OOT. The Leafs get bitten by the Sharks as Hertl scored the GWG with 84 seconds left in reg time. Pavelski scores the empty net goal in which Joe Thornton gets his 999th career assist, Sharkies win 3-1. The Red Wings sneak out a 3-2 OT win over the sinking Canucks. Abdelkader with the OT winner.

The Stars pull off the impressive 3rd period comeback, wow. The Penguins were up 2-0 and had a 26-0 record when leading after 2 periods. The Stars score 3 goals in 7 minutes and hang on for the 3-2 victory. The Habs win 1-0 in OT, Galchenyuk scored the winner on the PP. Tortarella must have gone on a profanity filled tirade as the penalty was a weak call.

The Jets suffer a major blow to their playoff chances as they lose 6-5 in reg time to the Wild, Zucker with the GWG. The Predators win 5-4 in OT with Forsberg being Superman scoring the tying and winning goals. The Panthers get the 3-2 SO win against the Hurricanes and stay close to the last playoff spot.

The Capitals win 4-1 over the Rangers, Johannson with 3 points. The Bruins also win 4-1 over the Coyotes. The Avs mail it in as they lose 4-0 to the Flyers.
