If you didn't see the calls, why make the comment? Just makes you look ridiculous.

Mandatory 10 game suspension should apply.
Result obviously wasn't as bad as Wideman but I think the intent there is pretty obvious. 10 games is what Wideman got, so I think 10 would be fair.

Okay, I'll just post this. I know it is a Flames forum but...to me this is why I'm very happy the Leafs have Matthews. The guy literally does this a few times every game.

I remember when Johnny used to be that relentless on the puck.

Yup. That looked just like vintage Hartley Gaudreau right there.

The Canucks are in the midst of a gruelling road trip and they lost to a superior team, plain and simple. The Penguins win 4-0 with Matt Murray getting the SHUTOUT stopping all 29 shots. Malkin with 2 points and Crosby with 1 assist which gets him to 999 career points. The Ducks win 1-0 in reg time, Cramarossa scores at the 4:38 mark of the 1st period and that was it. John Gibson gets the 37 save SHUTOUT and Vermette with the game misconduct fiasco. No penalties for the Wild and the Ducks were 5 for 5 on the PK.

The Sabres beat the Senators 3-2 in reg time. Lehner was in net and faced 41 shots against his former team. The Sabres win the season series, 4-0-1. The Sens had a 2-1 lead heading into the 3rd period, Justin Bailey scored the GWG. The Devils also win 3-2 in reg time over the Avs. Jeremy Smith was in net for the Avs in his NHL debut and made 37 saves in the loss. The Devils are 4-1-1 in the past 6 games and have had troubles beating the Avs, it's only their 2nd win in the past 11 games.

It was the Patrick Laine show as he scored a hat trick, including an empty netter in the Jets 5-2 win. The score 3-2 until the Jets scored 2 empty net goals in 46 seconds. Hellebucyk with 34 saves as he is the #1 goalie since Pavelec is injured. The Oilers also win 5-2 over the Coyotes. The two teams scored 3 goals in 42 seconds early in the 2nd period. The Oilers scored 2 goals in the 3rd period to put the game out of reach for the Coyotes. The Leafs went goal crazy in the 3rd period as they whipped the Islanders 7-1, Matthews with 2 goals. It was 3-1 after 2 periods and the Leafs had a 20-6 edge in shots in the final period.
