Not only that but Smith is pretty good at being slow footed too and running into his team mates.

ie: When he ran into Duchene and messed him up.

It's really strange how whatever "system" they seemed to have has just evaporated. Prior to these last five games or so they always looked solid and dominated possession stats. In the last batch of games they have been playing like when Carlyle was the coach. It's time for Babcock to show if he is for real and can get them back playing to how they were.

The 4th line is quite no good with Ben Smith.

That line with Gauthier at centre had actually pretty decent possession numbers. Smith is an anchor on this team. I can't wait until Smith and Polak are gone.

Polak can stay. He's okay. Smith on the other hand needs to be shot into Siberia.

I'd like to see him traded at the deadline if possible. They got something for him last year so maybe they can do it again.

Hunwick has grown on me and I don't mind him staying in a bottom pairing role.

Polak frustrates the hell out of me. He is always talked about as a guy who clears out people in front of the net and wins battles in the corners, but he never seems to do it. And he is just so slow.

Agostino with 4 shots so he might have played quite well in addition to the goal. It will. E interesting to watch him.

Terry Koshan ‏@koshtorontosun
First time in #Leafs team history five rookies have scored in same game. First time it's happened in #NHL since Flames did it in March 1984.

Huh... 1984 was near the start of the only extended great hockey this franchise has seen. Maybe playing a bunch of rookies is not so bad.

It really depends a great deal on the quality of the rookies playing.

Member when BigTuna was scolding the Flames management for not going after Andersen?

He's got a measly 2.80 GAA and a .914 sv percentage. He also sucks under pressure and can't hold a lead. Thankfully we missed that boat.

Carter Hutton with the 26 save SHUTOUT. The Blues only had 16 shots in the game and the Flyers have been shutout for the second straight game.

5 at 6 in overtime

The Isles finally win their first game of the season when trailing heading into the 3rd period.

1 at 2 in regulation

Lehner was the only reason the Sabres weren't blown as he faced 39 shots. The Devils stop their 7 game home losing streak.
