Steinberg tweeted that they are splitting up the 3M line and that he saw it coming.
I like to read Roger's tweet as being kinda catty. Even though he probably didn't mean it that way. Seems funnier to me.

I have not been a fan of Roger over the last few years. Either I was oblivious to his attitude a decade ago and he has become bitter since the c#$%s*%#!r incident or my sarcasm detector is off when it comes to Roger.
I like the lineup change. Glue Gun is recognizing that he has to make bigger changes. People are complaining that Chiasson is on the 1st line, but he isn't. He is on what is supposed to be the 3rd line. It's a sad state of affairs when the 3rd line outplays the top two lines for nearly the entire year.
Chiasson is now off of the top two lines and won't be bringing down the scoring quality. Hopefully some offense will start happening.
I also like that Tkachuk stays with Backlund. Backlund has been good and steady and is a good influence for the rookie. Let the top guys figure out how to turn around their games before letting the rookie play with them.
...so he's finally dragged himself out of that Montreal strip club, and he's hung-over and angry. Thinking that the Flames would have trouble with the 1992 Sens, let alone this year's edition,, That Darn Puppet just takes his frustrations out on Spartacat:
Spoiler!
Go Flames

The Bouma-Stajan-Ferland line is basically a line of players soon to be out of the NHL and is also staggeringly over-paid. Stajan is passable as an NHL player but even that is a stretch and I wouldn't care so much about a fourth line if it wasn't for the fact their collective cap hit is ~5.5 million dollars.
Anyways it's a new game. Time to put the agony of the last few games behind them. WIN!!!!
and just give Ferly/Bennett/Bouma simple orders: smash, grind and drive the net.
This is what I would like to see as well. Maybe our top line would be tougher to play against and our 3rd line could be a wrecking crew. I would keep Chaisson in over Hamilton. I don't think Hamilton brings as much as Chaisson. With less minutes, Chaisson could be more affective. She shouldn't be anywhere near our top 6.
We need to unleash Bennett somehow and I think playing with move feisty players might help. We need him to muck it up in the corners, get into scrums, show more emotion. I might actually watch this one tonight, it has been a week for me, taking a break hasn't been easy!
GG, please make this line up happen.
Oh and on D.
I would like to see:
Brodie - Hamilton
Giordano - Engelland
Kulak - Wideman
I would like to see a change up on the backend. The pairings have been terrible and Wideman is getting worse it seems. Everyone sucks except Hamilton. I want Brodie to get going again so maybe it is time to have them playing together. If these pairings don't make sense then try Gio-Brodie, Hamilton-Kulak, Engelland and Wideman.
I don't know at this point, but changing things up has to be better than what is happening now.
Flames lose another one, this time closer. 3-2. Monahan and Backs score.
GFG.

After learning the stat that the Flames have lost in horrible fashion to every Canadian team recently, there is only Ottawa left to complete the sage.
My prediction: Sadly, I see another blowout happening. The team goes into the all-star break broken and mangled. But they actually make a decent run afterwards.
The question which will be answered tonight is whether this team was more focused on their travel plans during their break than they were about playing NHL hockey.
