Some crazy games happened on the OOT. The Wild jumped out to a 4-0 lead in the 1st period and then the Stars slowly came back to tie it at 4-4 in the 3rd period. Zucker scores the GWG soon after, Wild win 5-4 in reg time. Lehtonen was the 3rd star in the loss after relieving Niemi who let in 3 goals. The Habs win 5-4 over the Rangers in reg time by scoring 3 goals in 62 seconds in the 3rd period. The 2 teams alternated goals with the Rangers taking the lead 3-2 after 2 periods on a SHG. Lundqvist was pulled after the 5th goal, the Habs Danault had 3 assists. The Blues win 4-0 over the Sharks, Carter Hutton with the 23 save SHUTOUT. The Ducks win 3-0 over the Coyotes, Bernier gets the 26 save SHUTOUT. The Islanders had a 3-1 lead in the 2nd period and then the Hurricanes blew them out of the arena to 7-4. Brock McGinn had 4 points for the Hurricanes. The Panthers beat the BJs 4-3 in reg time, Jagr scored a goal. The Red Wings get a surprise win over the Penguins 6-3. The Pens had a 2-0 lead before the Red Wings turned it on. The Bruins beat Philly 6-3, Marchand with a 5 point game. The Preds win 3-2 in reg time over the Avs.
