You have to Possess the puck to create chances.

When your best players can't complete a pass or make a play to save their lives....that is the result.

I need someone to explain what GG's system is.

We apply zero pressure to the opposing team carrying the puck in the neutral zone, we give up the blue line super easily, our forwards fly the zone and our breakouts are either up the boards or long clears with a centre ice deflection deep, but no chance of establishing a forecheck.

The only thing GG seems to have done well is defensive zone coverage.

Our games feel to me like we are trying not to lose instead of trying to win.

Honestly if Gaudreau and Bennett's could help chip in a (singular) goal once every second game, it could make all the difference.

If I were Johnny I'd be doing passing drills all tomorrow morning after all those mis-passes tonight. Mr. Hockey really needs to redeem himself after this week.

That was not a "gimme goal".

That was possibly the most uninspired hockey I've seen out of this team this year. No communication between the players a lot of the time. The first period was horrid - no energy, no jump, no accuracy, nothing at all. They play like this tomorrow it'll be worse, because unlike the Devils, the Grease can actually score.

Miserable.

Sigh. You try too hard, and you're not good at it.

Disagree somewhat. I thought Gaudreau had a pretty strong game against the Sharks, but tonight he was terrible. Couldn't complete a pass to save his life and some brutal turnovers.

Bennett has definitely struggled over the last few games. He's still really young though, and still learning how to play in this league. so I'm gonna give him a pass. He'll come around.

Have the Flames scored with the goalie pulled even once this season? Feels like they're 0 for 10 or more in that situation with a handful of goals against.

Remember the comeback kids? Man does that feel like a century ago.

Good idea,
I'll see you there...Just look for the guy with a retro Gaudreau jersey and a paper bag over his head.
