Possible he is going into that war memorial area at the end of victoria cross? If not, there are a bunch of other little areas in Currie that he could be hiding out. A lot of construction going on there.

We knew where he's sleeping. Our plan needed to have him spotted but he didn't show up to where he's normally been this am. Now we just need sightings.... We're trying to bring in drones.

I've got a drone I could come fly tomorrow and help out with depending on the area as they're pretty strict with drone use in residential areas now.

Looks like they found him? There was a post on YYC Pet Recovery, Pux can you confirm? If so, what a relief!

have you guys thought of a tranquilizer gun? that way there's no chasing around. Blammo snore throw him in the backseat of the car and he wakes up at home.

Nice work!! Very impressive performance with the effort put in by everyone involved, wow.
I didn't want to say it before he was found because of the sensitive nature of it, but when I kept reading about all the creative and relentless strategies to catch Steve, I kept thinking of Billy Madison; "You get up off your ass, and you find that ####### dog!!" That she did in spades, let alone flying back from Maui got it. Glad this one had a happy ending, welcome home Steve!!

So now that has a happy ending, where do these dogs go to sleep in -20 weather and not freeze to death? I was expecting this dog wouldn't make it but am glad it did.

Thanks for updating newts. The second I got into work they found him. This is my first break at work. He was going into a condo being constructed by Currie Barracks. He was sleeping by a heater in the building at night and then would book it in the morning when the workers came. We don't know where he was last night as we were watching the building. He then showed up around the Acura dealership and the ground crew got him. He's a lucky dog because for a bit there, he was walking eastbound on Glenmore but there was an accident, so traffic was slow. He turned around and went into Garrison Green and Grandpa got a hold of him through a wire fence in Garrison Green.
I'm going to have a few drinks and have a nice long sleep.
