Just looks wrong to me. Information I am seeing has Sven at 69th in points per 60. That puts him behind Gaudreau, Versteeg, and Tkachuk. There would be no room for Beartschi on Calgary's LW.
Gaudrea 2.74
Versteeg 2.81
Tkachuk 2.71
Baertschi 2.67

It looks like stats.hockeyanalysis.com
I think youre looking at all situations and this graph is just 5on5 or even strength.

(Note: I am following up with your point, not arguing with it)
Baertschi has played 559 minutes and 46 seconds and has 23 points
That works out to 2.465 / 60, good for 79th in the NHL (69th for minimum 10 games)
If he (or any player) were to go 3 games without a point, he (they) would drop about 50 spots in the overall rankings.
Points per 60 has far too much noise in it, and sample sizes are far too small to be meaningful.
If you want to talk 10,000 minutes (or several years, for those that don't like math), then sure, points/60 is going to be a useful stat.
But quoting it for a portion of a season is like comparing GAA after 10 or 20 games.

I also live in downtown Van, looking forward to the next two games... Dorset & Burrows not playing is a slight disappointment though, was looking forward to those two getting flattened.
4 points and a big two games from Chucky will rub a little "salt" in the Nuck's fans wounds!

This is the NHL, I hope for two wins but its not going to be easy
For real? none of the teams Vancouver have beat in the 19 wins are for real I guess

Players that mainly play in offensive situations (usually because they suck in their own end and the coach doesn't trust them) have a massive advantage.

Pop in a couple early and Vancouevr will fade badly. Last time against the Flames they gave up mid way though and started thinking holidays.

Not sure those living in Calgary will get the reference. Canucks fans rioting in the icy streets trying to get their free salt from their local fire department. None to spare for their wounds.

Not really. They've been up and down all season, no consistency. Haven't won four in a row yet
Lots of loser points

EXACTLY! Though I've been getting messages from buddies right across the country the last two days laughing at our little ice crisis out here... The little bit of snow & ice out here over the past few weeks have made it rather entertaining though.

Not really game related but more so Flames and Canucks related.....I commented to a buddy of mine who's a Nucks fan how Horvat is showing a lot of promise and I said it was a great deal to get him for Schneider. My buddy goes off and says that Schneider was a franchise goalie and the Canucks should have gotten at least another draft pick along with that #9 over pick.
Then we went into a debate and he asked if I would trade Johnny G for a 1st overall pick. I said it obviously depends on the draft but most likely a no at this stage.
He continued on to say that was dumb and Johnny is unproven and isn't a franchise player.
So after all said and done, I hope Johnny lights it up tonight to shut him the eff up.

Who knows? This one could get ugly any number of ways. Seven of league's 30 worst +/- players are in this game tonight, and tomorrow:
Brodie -17
Sutter -15
Granlund -15
Monahan -14
Gudbranson -14
Hutton-13
Gaudreau -11
Eight if you count Brouwer who is at #34 and also -11.
Despite better play as of late for both teams, there's just no digging out of the hole for some players. Flames should still be the better team, but that's never been a guarantee for a win in any game in the NHL. They can't get caught napping, and FOR ONCE COULD THEY JUST KEEP THE SEDINS OFF OF THE SCORE SHEET?!
Flames get it together enough for two points. 4-3 in OT. Brodie with the winner.
Go Flames Go!

what the hell is it with the coach and Hathaway, shouldn't be sitting once again. best way to get in canucks heads is with physicality, they don't like it

Freddie was good last game, so I'm happy to let him keep the ball rolling. I wish we could play Hathaway on the left because I'd rather have him over Bouma..

Bouma has been much better of late though. No longer invisible every game. He, along with Hamilton with his performance last game, has made that 13th forward spot highly contested over the last 2 weeks.
