I certainly don't measure patriotism by who people cheer for. It just says more about how certain emotions etc. are wired in your brain and maybe a reflection of where you have lived, environment etc. As TC pointed out, it can be easier to root a little harder when you feel connected to something that you are not around every day.

I do think it's rather interesting to hear people's reasons.

Looks like US based posters can watch the stream here.

Believe the above stream is blacked out for Canada.

Dube's line created a great scoring chance.

That reminded me of that Karyia - Lemuiex (am I remembering that right?) goal from the 2002 Salt Lake Olympics.

Bad d coverage by the Americans. Not sure what Fox was thinking by going to the puck carrier when he was already covered. Maybe he didn't realize Chabot had jumped up into the play.

I believe Lemieux let the puck go between his legs.

Fox batted the puck to Lauzon after the Americans struggled to clear the zone.

Fox was also responsible for the Russian goal that forced overtime yesterday.

Bad couple of days for him.

I have not been impressed with Dubois in this tournament. Doesn't seem like he has a high hockey IQ.
