To me, if it is not a player safety issue, let them play. Both sides have same conditions to play in.

Homer...I write like I write, I can't help this, as I have written the same way for closing on 60 years. I do, however, fail to grasp the Springs1 reference. Apologies if my style is unreadable to you.

Sure you can, just keep your finger away from the shift key. That was the Springs1 reference.

I prefer caps to bold for emphasis...it comes from starting with a typewriter, rather than a PC, which didn't exist when I learned.

My heart bleeds for the poor fan of the team with 3 cups in the past 7 years.

Both teams are receiving the same disadvantage of potential bounces, just like every single team on every single rink

Hjalmarrsson taking a beating blocking shots, and then kicks it in to his own net.

And now Tarasenko again.

3-1 Blues.

Tarasenko has been a beast out there. He wants this one.

I just feel that the reduced quality of play is what really stinks with these outdoor abominations. There is a reason that the NHL moved the game indoors last century.

These days we use italics for that.

It's to make sure you put emphasis on the point instead of YELLING IT!!!

Street, it is a hard thing to break habits learned in the late 60's in junior high. Italics weren't then an option on an old, manual, Underwood.

Edit: And I am going deaf! Yelling is 2nd nature to us old SOBs!

I was being funny. I enjoy your posts especially because I'm pretty sure you're a pharmacist too...

Yes, Street, Drake University College of Pharmacy, Class of 1980...and one of the few Pharmacists, who graduated that year, that also had a Literature Minor, to go with the Science Minor.

On the game...Seabrook with a couple of desperation stick saves.

I really hope that the 'Hawks won't have to play outdoors again anytime soon...as I stated in the OP, I really hate this gimmick.

What makes it a gimmick, other than you don't like it?
