I wasn't even sure that was a penalty till I saw the replay. Didn't look bad at all.

Another 5 on 3 for Canada. Now would be a great time for the PP to do something.

They're alive now. And a good 9 minutes left with energy and momentum on their side.

What a fortuitous bounce. Quick shot by Bracco makes it 3-1.

Lots of time left.

Good lord it would be nice to have some goaltending to make a save when it counts. Our goaltending has been mediocre at this tournament for what? 6-7 years now?

Yeah, I don't think these fellas are going to go away or fall apart.

Who knows, of course. It's junior hockey. But they seem like they were pretty well prepared and ready to go for this one. Quite a performance so far.

Re: that 5-minute interference penalty -- Jordin Tootoo made his name in the WJC doing exactly that every shift. It's a penalty now, and it should be, but things have changed.

Big breakaway save by Ingram. That would have been a killer goal.

Third one was on him despite the bounce. He was down way too early. That said, it's not so much his fault , more than it is why can't Canada produce anything other Than a mediocre goalie at this tournament anymore? We used to produce goalies who could single handidly win a game. All we seen to do is send guys that occupy a roster spot.
