So if it came across as hate it is not at all. Even the dressed players from last night, I would opt to give for Ferly or Hathaway some PP time in lieu of Chiasson.

I get to enjoy a live game from really good seats in the lower bowl {section 128) and watch players up close with and without the puck and that observation is my opinion after watching the team play. If there is perceived hate on the board for Chiasson it's not from me.
I agree Chaisson isn't "the ideal player for our top 6 or PP", but as pointed out he's doing a reasonable job in a role he's not actually suited for. Which brings to the point you made, I disagree there are lots of options to do it better, at least not on the roster now. If there were he wouldn't be playing the role he's in.

Chaisson is getting tagged around here with what happens to almost all players like him who get pushed up the line up. Very easy to see he's the weakest link in our top 6, so he immediately gets undervalued, while the players below him getting to play roles they are much better suited for are assumed to be better players because they look like they are getting their jobs done more effectively.

Replacing Chaisson from our top 6 would be ideal, but that would likely mean he ends up on the 4th line, not off the roster. Chaisson is getting falsely branded (by many) as our weakest starting forward, but that simply isn't the case, he's just being relied upon to play above his level and is doing so quite competently.

Who is not in the lineup that could be the net front guy on the power play and be better 5 on 5 than Chaisson?

As for others who are in the lineup? Ferland maybe, though he is smaller. I like Hathaway, but he is just not a power play guy.

It's a weird league where Brouwer got a 4x4 deal (whatever the exact amount is) but Versteeg nearly was shot into the Swiss Alps.

One player has been utterly replaceable, the other has been an integral part of the offense

Brouwer has been more consistent the past several years whereas Versteeg has been bouncing from team to team, in and out of the lineup.

And Brouwer is generally healthy compared to Versteeg who is almost constantly injured. Brouwer tends to be a lot more durable.

Not really, Brouwer has just been more durable and been really consistant scoring wise. You can trust him in most situations. Plus he's just a big body. On top of that he went into beat mode in the playoffs last year.
