by the way... looks to be channel 326 for local SHAW viewers.
That is correct, the game is on Sportsnet Flames. The West channel has the Oilers-Sabres game and when that game ends, the Flames game will be joined in progress.

Does TELUS Optik have a differing channel guide in each region? I have it on channel 1111 at 5:30 PST on Centre Ice. Channel 915 (SNW) picks it up at 6:30 PST. There are no sports in the 400 block, but I'm in Vancouver.

The Minnesota North Stars NHL Hockey Team was a favorite staple in the Northland. That was until eccentric deep pocketed new team owner Norm Green ripped out our collective hearts and moved the team to hockey hotbed Dallas, Texas. I was the only one who went out and got the reaction from the fans in this early digital video from 1993. Mr. Green is mostly hated in Minnesota as these fans will testify.
Got 5 minutes in before I realized that wasn't a tailgate at Rogers Place, was so confused why 2016 Oilers fans were wearing North Stars gear.
The Following 2 Users Say Thank You to Clarkey For This Useful Post:
12/6/2016 can be read 2 ways. But no one ever read 2016-12-06 as year-day-month.
Largest to smallest, general to precise. Just like time (hours/minutes/seconds)
To suggest anything else makes you a heathen.
Ughh why must you bring this off topic nonsense to the GDT!
When you read 2016-12(December)-06 out loud it does not sound right. My belief is that you should type it the way you would say it out loud.
This is typical practice in certain places like the UK, though they would say "The 12th of December" instead of North Americans who typically use "December 12th".
But at the end of the day, unless there is a universally understood rule it doesn't matter which system you use. I would never make the assumption that 2016-12-06 is year month day. Just as I would never make the assumption that 6-12-2016 is day month year. As a programmer, I've seen it every imaginable way with consistency.
