Yep thanks. Started to wonder why I'm the only one with a problem with this, checked the Janko thread.
Cheers!
Ps, can we update the Janko thread title?

"Flames reassign Mark Jankowski to Stockton" not clear enough for you?

Hey CP.
It's been a while.
Let's see, the Wild is still mono-dimensional, under-talented, over-reliant on middling talent and defense/goaltending, and utterly uncompelling.
So, I guess not much has changed on my team's side.
Couple names are different, but the net result is the same.
Duby has been excellent this season. Suter, too. 'S'about it.
I keep hoping the Wild will play a game that changes your opinion of them as the same old Lemaire team. But seems like Chuck Fletcher has no interest in making that happen, so.....

I just want to see that Staal and Parise slash their hands to Ferland's or Hathaway's stick 10 times accidently.

fixed.
Flames win this one big. 5-1 Monahan finally turns it on with 2 goals 2 assists.

I hope ferland doesn't feel need to fight their goon punching bag. Ridiculous. That's not vengeance. Slew foot on suter.....that's vengeance.

Wow. A win here puts the Flames into the last Wildcard. Yeah, games in hand and all, but a small run here could turn this season around.
Take revenge on the Wild by getting two valuable points.

This probably makes me a bad fan, but I hope there's a couple borderline dirty plays on the guys with Staal and Suter stitched on their backs.
An example has to be made tonight for the rest of the league to take note of. The hacking will not go unanswered.

Then I must be a terrible fan because I'm not sure I even want them to be borderline.

Honestly I'm more upset with the refs than I have been with the Wild. I mean the refs let them get away with it. You call 1 slashing penalty on Johnny and the slashes will stop.
Maybe Wideman will deliver some payback?

I'd like to see the response come from the core and not the role players. It would warm my heart so see Gio, Monahan, Brodie, Bennett and Tkachuk play an extremely truculent game tonight.
Not necessarily dropping the gloves but push the limits in scrums, finish checks and take a few whacks at Minny's core guys.
If it comes from those guys it speaks to the unity in the team IMO.

Skating around that goon and scoring a goal is vengeance.

I usually hate late whacking on the goalie but wouldn't mind everyone feeding Dubnyk a little extra lumber...Tkachuk is used to doing this

I'm expecting a game full of scrums and gloves-in-faces after whistles, but nothing crazy. I'm sure that the officials will be quick to send people to the box if things get wacky.

Here's hoping this game is a gong show, only to prove that the NHL can't protect players or stop players taking the law into their own hands.
Who am I kidding...
The Flames will end up getting dumped on with minor penalties. I bet most of them will be sashes too. I foresee this game being frustrating for our local lynch mob.
