49/50: Missed "The Thing", also guessed correctly on "Once Upon a Time in America", never seen or heard of it

I really don't know why this bothers people that much -- it's not like there's that many -- what, 6 or 7 a year? Out of hundreds of movies. You hear about them a lot because they have big budgets and marketing campaigns and internet hype, but you could easily go to the movies every week and see tons of great regular action movies, or dramas, or comedies, etc. and never see a superhero anywhere.

Studios only produce a handful of big-budget movies in a given year, so 6-7 is a lot. Hopefully with the success of Deadpool they start making less of the LCD PG movies.

Is that the film that South Park parodies in the 'Asspen' episode?

Edit: yes it was. From Wikipedia: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Asspen

Quote:
The episode parodies several movies of the 1980s and 1990s, including Hot Dog... The Movie, Ski School, Ski Patrol, Aspen Extreme, Total Recall, Pet Sematary and Better off Dead

The K-13? You don't want to go down that run. That run's got a history.

Possibly my favorite 22 minutes in television history.

I was trending to something similar, but got bored and quit. I'd seen maybe half the movies in there.

Glad to see I'm not the only person that has never heard of the movie "Heathers".

They should have made it where you have to type in the answers instead of making it multiple choice. Would have made it a tad harder.

50. Heathers is a good movie. One of the harder ones, as the screenshot wasn't very helpful (other than Winona)

Just Friends reminded me a lot of Better Off Dead.
