I agree. He needs/deserves more games.

Came to say this.
I actually don't mind Grossmann getting into the lineup in one of these two back-to-back games, if the idea is giving guys a rest and working everyone into the lineup. That actually makes sense. And Grossmann played well in his last game.
What I don't like - and I think we've seen it this year already - is adjusting the lineup to match the competition.
The Flames need to establish their own identity, which they have not done yet this year. Play to our strengths. And stick with a lineup that works.
I also agree with the comments above that Kulak needs some games. Either send him down (if you won't give him the games), or let him play and see how far he can run with it.

Is there any correlation with Kulak scratches and Las Vegas pro scout attendance? I can't help but feel they're hiding him from expansion.

But shouldn't they adjust if the opposing team has the size to stand in front of our goalie?

Lol are you serious....Kulak is a dime a dozen defenceman who has miles and years ahead of him before he's a regular. There are literally dozens of players similar to Kulak knocking on the NHL door. Not a chance Vegas even thinks of Kulak with a lot of other much better defenceman available.
The Flames would be thrilled if the one player they took was Kulak.

I'd personally keep Kulak over Jokipakka

That's fine, still a much better chance Jokipakka who has actual experience is taken before an inexperienced Kulak who has years ahead of him development wise.
Personally I think Jokipakka isn't taken either. I don't think many realize how many good defenceman will be available.

What makes you think Vegas gives a damn about more developed players? They are going to be bad for the next 3-5 years as they rack up high draft picks. They are the best place to give an opportunity to NHL-ready 22-23 year olds with top 4D / top 6F ceilings because they won't be competitive until Kulak is in his prime. If they think Kulak could potentially develop into for example a Ryan Suter type in his prime, they can live with growing pains.
Vegas is likely going to take on some big anchor contracts to fill the expansion salary quota which is where they will get "experience" (Dustin Browns and Dan Girardis) and the rest of their picks will be prospects and Kulak types (rookies/second year NHLers who are not exempt) with multiple RFA years left under their control as they rebuild. The Flames don't have that kind of big "filler" contract to expose (maybe Brouwer).

Every team has the size to stand in front of our goalie.
The Flames' advantage is speed and skill - I would rather focus on that and let them worry about us than us be focused on their strengths and trying to counter them.
Action vs reaction.
Also, check the OP of the GDT - the size advantage is nowhere near what it once was.
Also, Kulak has been paired with Engelland. Size is not an issue for that pairing.

It's not like Kulak and/or Jokipakka are small. And they can skate...

Gulutzan is trying to match up with opposition teams much like football teams do and its driving me insane. Just leave the lines alone and let them build some chemistry.

Tweeting your groin seems like such an Evander Kane thing to do.
