Must be trolling. There is no way any sane individual would compare Hrudey and Remenda. Remenda is the worst in the league at what he does and is painful to listen to and ruins any broadcast he is a part of. Hrudey is a subtle homer who has worked national broadcasts for a reason prior to being a regional commentator.

Yeah, Hrudy must suck. Working the panel during HNIC, calling some national games, called some of the WCH. And as I said, you would expect a slight slant towards your team during a REGIONAL broadcast, which Hrudy does, but Remenda takes it to embarrassing levels. Weitz, you shouldn't feel the need to stick up for him just because he's your teams color guy. We constantly complained about Kerr and Millions.

To be fair TV jobs can be based on looks, and Hrudey has a full head of hair and neon blue eyes, while Remenda looks like a retired boxer.

I like Hrudy, but being on HNIC does not mean you are a good broadcaster. They had PJ Stock and Healy. Was Damien Cox on HNIC? They have Romanuk and Millen doing games. There is a long list of horrible broadcasters on HNIC.
