Wow. I went to school with him and didn't realize "Slava" was the same person until I just saw his Facebook status update and put 2+2 together. It sounds like he is recovering well.

Wow, there are so many posts to thank here, so I will just a give blanket "thank you" to everyone and leave it at that!

I made it home yesterday and things are going pretty well. If anyone has to get a fusion in their spine I could walk you through what to expect, but I can leave that for another day. In general you can likely measure my recovery by how many threads I feel the need to comment in over the coming weeks though!

I also should mention that my care was really exceptional. I did have some fears, and we've all heard horror stories of how things are in general. Overall I thought it was great though, and the nurses were very professional, kind and helpful.

Thank you all though, I really appreciate it!
