I am asking all kids at the door if they support Commander Trump, if their answer is 'no', I am giving them the little boxes of raisins instead of candy bars.

My kids left at about 5:45. The younger ones get out early. They better bring home some good candy.

Hopefully by 2106 it is popular here though, I would love for my daughter to have the same candy procuring opportunities I had.
To answer the OP question, in my 7 years here I have had a total of 2 trick of treaters. I wasn't expecting them and had dig around my fridge for a can of Fanta and a pack of M&Ms haha.

Oy mate! Have some Fanta and jar of vegemite!

Already had 70 or so, burned through 2/3 of my candy, seems like more this year. Might run out early.

24 so far here in Hillhurst. I think we had about 90 or 100 last year. We don't decorate, so that cuts things down a bit.

You must be "that guy" on the block that everyone tries to avoid.

Best costumes so far:
Kid had a great plague doctor costume.
Some kind of goth princess, looked like tons of work.
Best so far though was a girl with a Moxxi costume, seemed custom made with tons of detail (and appropriate for 13 or however old she was thankfully). EDIT: The hat was perfect.
And amazingly.. not a single Harley Quinn costume! Seems like every other parent I talked to recently had a Harley kid.

I've only had 9 so far, 3 of which were my kids.
We live near downtown Edmonton and are the only houses for a bit of a stretch. Normally i'd have had 50 by now, kids from the apartment complexes.
That said, my favorite was the very first set, a brother and sister who were about 3 and 5 respectively. Mom was very clearly a "new Canadian" based on accent and reaction to me answering the door in costume (Hagrid ftw). You could tell it was a new experience and that she was really enjoying the premise.
Up to 10 now, but still very low.

Had some students come by collecting canned goods for Meal Exchange. First time I've seen that but it probably is a really good night to go out for that. I was happy to get rid of a bunch of cans of tomatoes and kidney beans that I never got around to using for chili.

If you have extra candy on Thursday I'll gladly eat any peanut butter cups and Crispy Crunch bars you bring to hockey.

We are pushing 100 kids already. Bought enough for 200 I think. I hope.
