Sam Bennett will never ever score on the power play again.

We're gonna get destroyed. But I have a good feeling we might actually score on the PP tonight.
5-1 Hawks.

Really hoping for a win, but I'll just settle for less carnage than last nights TWD.

I guess I should add, that in spite of the way they've played thus far, I still can't help but be excited for the game.
Don't let me down, Flames! The rage is exhausting.

I don't know why you are getting upset. This is literally the way it has been for the last 5 seasons here.

The reason to me is simple, desperation. Despite a mediocre start, the Hawks aren't nearly as desperate as we are for a win. The pp especially is due for some success. You could say the same thing about their pk but I would expect the more desperate team to force the issue more.

The PK is doing alright alright.
Johnson looks good.
In fact, there are a few things to be excited about. There are some positives. The win/loss record and the powerplay remain atrocious though, I will give you that. It's not all rainbows and sunshine in Calgarytown.

The pk is doing alright? What are we, 74%?
Our expectations must be loooooooow if we are thinking our pk is doing well. (IMO it sucks just as bad as everything else, the opposing teams pass the puck around at will)

It's all relative. The PK hasn't been great, but it is ranked 23rd. Better than, say, the 30th ranked PK or the 30th ranked GA/G.

Just here to post a picture of a red car made for Johnny, hopefully it breaks him out of his slump.
Maybe a red brick wall for the goalies too...
Can't for get about the D.
Now just win.

After tonight, the Flames could be in dead last place in the league...and Edmonton is currently in 1st.
....so uh...Mondays are pretty depressing...

Gaudreau, Monahan, Brodie, Giordano and Bennett need to be better.
I feel like I'll be posting that a lot this season.

TJ Brodie-Deryk Engelland
Jyrki Jokipakka-Dougie Hamilton
Wes Gilbertson @WesGilbertson
Finally, all indications are that #Flames LW Matthew Tkachuk will once again be a healthy scratch.

Hearing Matthew Tkachuk is getting games spaced out. Looking like he will sit out in Chicago. Maybe just maybe tomorrow in St. Louis
